Well, he figured that they were already dating / intimate from the hug in the office from the few days previous.
It is probably good she did not remember that who she was going to marry was Lex, that might have given him too much of a chance to have her comitted.

She does still get creeped out by him enough to scrub her body after he kissed her and suggested she stay the night with him.
It is also good that Clark has not told Lois his secret, at least not in Lois' apartment. Hopefully if he does tell it will be some place where Luthor does not have survalaince.
