Quick note of explanation for non-US FoLCs... Kay Jewelers is a national chain specializing in diamonds. They have a bunch of ads with the underlying message "You know what'll make her REALLY happy with you? Diamonds!" and the slogan... "Every kiss begins with Kay!"
