It's no secret that I read it, but no-one outside my family understands why. My friends just are either not that interested in reading or the show, and when they see me laughing at a story, they've learned not to ask unless they really want to know. Most of the really funny stuff in fanfics is injokes- if you do not know the show you will not understand. Even if they do know the show, stuff like Tank's haircuts...well they just do not get it. I have tried explaining but I do get some weird looks and the topic is dropped. I still keep bring it up though- because I know some of them would love it if they just gave it a chance. (And some are pretty good writers
