Hmm…Funeral and Englishman came out later. Was he already a known bigshot back in 1992?
I still think it would be more likely to mention Cary Grant. Hugh Grant did get an award at the Venice Film vesitval for "Maurice" in 1987, and he was in a few other films. The biggest thing I see is he was in "The Remains of the Day" in 1993, so I am not sure that was out yet or not.
