Well, he does let Diana Stride kiss him. Although that did not seem to really make any sense to me.
At least Lois sees through the Bill Church faster than anyone else. In fact, in "Individual Responsibility" I am surprised she does not push back against Perry more with stuff like "well, we all, except Clark, thought Luthor was a good man too" when Perry tries to defend Bill Church Jr. with mention of him being a philanthropist.
