Originally, I was going to have him call the phone in the suite, and then I wanted her to have a reason to leave her mobile phone at her apartment, to re-charge, so I switched it.
I think it is now confused.
It never made sense to me, why someone with a mobile phone (as shown in GGGoH) would use a payphone in ASU. I'll take another look at that paragraph and try to smooth out those bumps. Thanks.
Knowing Lois, my guess would be the phone got destroyed during one of her investigations. Although I think the actual explanation is the scene with Lois using Clark to block a TV reporter was just fun.
So, she can drop off her overnight bag and recharge her mobile phone.
I guess the second one makes sense. If it was just the first I would say "why doen't she just put it in her locker at work"?
