My greatest regret about my time in the (U.S.) Army was that I could have gone to Australia on a military transport for $40 round trip and I couldn't do it. The catch is that they guarantee that you will fly within a 10 day window. The timing wouldn't have been a problem the trip would have been in two legs. Bottom line is that I could've ended up in Hawaii for up to 20 days and I didn't have the funds for that long a stay. I'll make it someday.
