There are *so many* great fanfics based on this episode! It's obvious why this is so - look at the list that Sue made!
One of my personal favorites involving the pheromone is ML Thompson's
"Super Stud" . It's even better in the nfic version found on annesplace.net. (Note: The events in this fic take place later in S1, around the time of "Fly Hard", but it's definitely pheromone-related!) This fic definitely stands up to repeated readings.
