Yes, our community does strive for excellence. But this should never stop you from posting feedback, asking questions or getting into stories. Also, there's always help from the beta readers when someone wants to tip their toes into writing. And not every author is a native speaker here, so
In regards to spoilers: in the archive database (and in the dedication/disclaimer and often the summary too), the authors inform the reader on which episodes a story is based on, or if it's a rewrite of all 4 seasons. Yes, some authors do several seasons worth of story in their epics.
