I wonder if CC Aiken is still around. If she is, then this reminds me a bit of her dialogue style.
Like BJ, I thought this reminded me a bit of CC Aiken. The sweet funny sexiness and vulnerability of the characters made me think of CC's style. Ah well, I'm still going to say that it was probably Laura who wrote it.
