What's even more ironic is... well, what exactly was the will of the people in the 2008 election? That Stephen Harper remain prime minister? That the Conservatives form a government? The Conservatives don't have a majority in Parliament. They're attempting to govern from a minority position. At the moment, therefore, the majority in Parliament, as elected by the voters, is the combined opposition parties. So who exactly is taking power without having earned it?
