Unfortunately, I can't help you, but I do feel your pain! iTunes decided at 2:30 in the morning that I didn't need half my playlists or the last, oh, 100ish songs I'd added into my library. You're a lot nicer than I am, though. I would have at least called them already and told them to stuff it where the sun doesn't shine.
