First and foremost, my favorite stories are romances. And, like Pam, within those, I have a definite preference for stories which begin before they are officially dating (especially ones set in that wonderful mid-S2 timeframe when they are a couple but don't realize it yet
) and carry them through to the beginnings of "happily ever after". Revelations are not a necessity for me, but I absolutely adore stories where Clark is a hero to Lois (either physically or emotionally) *as Clark*.
So a story that ties it all up for me in one pretty little package? Why Chris Mulder's two parter, "Love Beyond All Measure" and "Dimensions of Loving", of course.
