Ahaha, I -just- finished writing that scene! XD Although, Lou doesn't comment on Clara's eating habits. I think growing up male, he'd have been socialized to never ever talk about a woman's diet, especially as he views women as being sort of fragile, and himself as being highly likely to send a woman over the edge.
Whatever the form, Lois Lane always has issues courtesy of her parents. >_>
