Well, DJ, because I know you have retired from nfic, I also knew that Clark wouldn't actually rape Lois. It wouldn't happen, because you wouldn't allow it. Because you stay away not just from describing sex scenes, but also from including unacceptable sex in your stories, even if that sex is not described but only implied. So I knew that your Clark wouldn't cross the sort of lines that would be unacceptable to me. Since you warned me anyway, I would have had no reason to complain (not that I might not have done that anyway, I know, I know
), but honestly, this time I knew that I had absolutely no reason to stay away from this fic.
