I've never let anyone else decide what happens with my story before my last one. So it was a new experience letting outside sources have some control over my story. Characters who want to do their own thing is how I ended up with a still unfinished 153,000 word sequel to a 20,000 word story. When/if I can ever finish it, I have an unlimited supply of one-shots to write for that universe.
Hmmmm. Perhaps we need to rename our self-help group to "Those in a Relationship with a Domineering Muse" instead? LOL.
