I loved the 'makeup' session in the conference room and that she was able to address him as Clark to make sure he knew to whom she was talking. I also loved the wrangling of the 'promise' out of him. He believing that if he promised something he then
had to fulfill it and he was not sure that would be possible. Her explaining her version of 'promise' to him, not letting him know that her true purpose was to give him a reason to come home and something/someone to come home to. She obviously thought he was in almost defeatist mode that last time the spoke(which he was) and she needed to do something about that!
