Doesn't seem that odd to me, Paul. Far as I know it's a popular episode among FoLCs. Many enjoy it for it's lack of Superman (near enough), being set in Smallville, Martha and Jonathan featured heavily, Clark getting to be Clark and getting cosy with Lois, and Lois beginning to appreciate that there are depths to her partner she hadn't quite appreciated before then. wink

And for a host of other reasons probably. I like it for all of the above and the fact that it has lots of waffs, lots of humourous moments, and Clark was kind of cute when he was sick. <g>
