Hurricane Sandy made me think of these:
99) Meteorologist. He could fly wherever he wanted to observe the conditions first-hand, rather than having to rely on mechanical sensors.
In a similar vein:
100) Storm chaser/photographer. He could get the really dramatic pictures without worrying about being in danger.
Thanks to all who participated in this challenge. I am impressed by the variety and the creativity of the answers. Impressed but, given how creative this group is, not surprised. By all means feel free to continue past the 100-mark if you come up with other good ideas.
