She had hoped to convince Clark to spend this weekend in Smallville with her, but Superman was out of Metropolis for the foreseeable future.
This actually leads to a few questions. Why does she not ask Clark to have Superman contact her so she can make a request of him? Also, why does she think Clark might take her when she is still on probation and not allowed to leave the state?
Damn Nazis. “Shouldn’t you be resting? The doctor said no physical activity, remember?”
