Oh, that would be canon Lois's fault.
At first I was thinking the whole bracelet might still be there, but I decided the doctors would have almsot certainly removed that along with his clothes.
It either fell off into the harbor, or stolen by someone on the docks who was there when he was rescued, or was removed with his other clothing and put into evidence at the hospital.
Or Lori the mermaid stole it after keeping Clark warm all night.
