This part was amazing, Corrina. I really liked Lois's conflict and how she's chosen to trust her gut. I'm not sure how to explain it, but you wrote it in such a way that it's really easy to get inside the situation. You can follow Lois's logic, you can understand just exactly how Clark is feeling and why he chooses to act the with her so careful.
