I'm really glad to have read this today. At first reading, when things were getting bad, then really bad, then horribly bad for Clark, I really was planning to brace for a very sad ending. I just didn't see any way for it not to end like that. And I appreciated the story non the less--for how different it was from what's normally posted.
And then, the ending
. Love it! Normally the 'dream' fix isn't one of my favorites, but in this case? Perfect! It worked--SO WELL!

And I really admire how you worked the solution so well into solving an episode dilemma. Problem solved--and happily ever after! Woo-hoo!
