Clark's love for Lois was written really beautifully. Very honest and heart-felt. It was very moving to see Clark grow with that love, become his best version of himself.

What a great companion piece to 'Alone' smile.

Thank you, Laura. I thought it would be fun to sort of "mirror" the events in "Alone," as much as possible - Clark's isolation over his powers vs the joy of learning to fly, the sadness over Lois' engagement to Lex vs the bliss of knowing that she said "no" at the altar, etc.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the piece. I really loved the process of writing them both, and I'm so glad that I was urged to write the happier flip-side to "Alone!"
