I just read an article from Forbes where the author seemed to be saying that a low quality production in Man of Steel made people less likely to watch a sequel, no matter how good the sequel will be.
I actually have a different take. To me the fact that we start with a Lois knows who Superman really is quickly plot makes me very excited about a sequel.
Even though I thought that Man of Steel went too far with the destruction scenes, I am still willing to watch a sequel.
