One of the concerns I had when I suggested "Golden Thistle" for Heather was that with her heavy burr she would stick out and a connection would be formed between her and her being the superhero and consequently, because she's married to Sean, a connection with the Kent family. So maybe the tartans would work. Sean could even affect a Scottish accent when he was Dan-El so it would seem like the couple came over from Scotland.
