"Would you kiss me again if I asked you to?"

And the way you left it is just right, too: Lois isn't ready for anything more, and if either she or Clark pushed for it, it wouldn't work. She needs more time to learn to trust him and to distance herself from Claude. As she told Clark, she doesn't know if she still loves Claude.
And we all know that Clark is a v-very patient man!
