Moral: All children (and particularly all little girls, because for some reason there were few or no such stories about boys) should always and immediately obey their parents.
I've read stories along this line myself, but it's about equal whether they were about boys or girls. To me, the moral is that the little girl and then her mother were following the promptings of the Holy Ghost. I firmly believe that we should always follow promptings like that, but that's something I've learned through personal experience. This forum is not where I'd share something that private and sacred to me.
