You have set yourself a mighty task, Folc. It will not be easy to maintain the tension in such a dramatic story over the long haul, but I'm sure you can handle it. I won't leave comments on this yet - I have to go back and reread Delusions of Grandeur, since I don't remember it that well. Just from glancing at the previous tale, though, it appears that you've expanded on the ending quite a bit. And that's not a complaint, I assure you. I just hope I can carve out enough time to get it done soon. Please continue with Injustice - from this little taste, it looks really good.

Yes, it will be a roller coaster of a fic but it's completely mapped out and full of fun bumps along the way too.  I won't leave comments on this yet - I have to go back and reread Delusions of Grandeur, since I don't remember it that well. Happy Reading! Just from glancing at the previous tale, though, it appears that you've expanded on the ending quite a bit. And that's not a complaint, I assure you. Yes, there were certain parts I specifically left out of Delusions with the purpose of having them land in this tale. I hope you enjoy them! The last chapter of Delusions can be seen sprinkled into this teaser. Very purposeful. I just hope I can carve out enough time to get it done soon. I hope so too! It is a gripping tale, but it does have a happy ending. Please continue with Injustice - from this little taste, it looks really good. The muse is very interested in finishing up this tale. No plans on stopping anytime soon. Got an idea of length yet? I don't have a full chapter count but I am guessing between 20 and 25 chapters based on how much is left to cover.

“The nerve of them.” Stern continued, tapping his chest proudly. “They want to accuse me of slander? Me? They run tabloid trash. I run organizations that report the news.” Stern’s face grew grim and he pointed to the door. “You may want to close the door, Perry.”
“What seems to be going on, Mr. Stern?” Perry asked, walking toward the door to close it.
Stern waited for the door to close and then took his seat, leaning back in the leather seat with a frown. “The Daily Planet is being sued.” One of the things I love about this chapter is the opening interplay between Perry and Franklin Stern. It reminds me of the fantastic scene they shared in the first season. Most folks are not aware of just how incredible it was to have two such accomplished actors working together like that. It is a pity Lane Smith and James Earl Jones did not have more screen time together. They made it look easy!

Yeah, I absolutely loved the exchange between these two at the end of HoL and really wish we could have gotten more on screen time from them. These legends played off one another so well. I'm so glad you liked this bit I tried to show Franklin Stern and Perry's underlying friendship here and am glad it came across. Chapter 8 is up for everyone. Chilling... Hey Morgana I'm glad to see that contrast came across well. It is a tragic history Ingrid has had to endure but she has grown stronger which I'm sure you'll notice with each chapter. Chapter 13 is up and comes with a major WHAM alert and TRIGGER warning. Let me know your thoughts all.
