It was a *lot* bigger than Smallville. The fear swelled, pushing into her ribs and pressing against her heart.
I got one of those heart wrenching feelings from this line. I love how it's written.
"My daughter's project," he said. He thrust the jumpsuit at Clark. "Your disguise."
That was brilliant.
