So I think the arranged marriages are a question of 'obligating nobleness' (and that's a direct translation from French, so if it doesn't make sense in English, I apologize).
I think that English uses the term "noblesse oblige" (if that's what it is in French too) and doesn't bother to translate it.
English just likes to borrow/steal/take words from other languages and plops them right into its own dictionary!
