Awww, you guys! Way to make an author all choked up! When I started writing this story, I didn't plan to post it. It was going to be for me. I have never written a first-person story, and I don't usually write dark stories. But then, as I worked on my little project, it evolved, and after consulting two betas and a big sis, I decided to take a risk and post it.
Like I said in my author's note, I couldn't have done this without Lara and Jenni. They are amazing, insightful and very, very patient.
And I am so touched that you guys have responded so favorably to "Rain."
