Really nice idea and take on that often written about episode. I was laughing the entire time of the Lois call to the Police. I guess a second chapter where they really get down to talking about the revelation and the ramifications of that revelation would be very nice also. That is if your muse has sufficiently brushed the cobwebs off now.
In summary, I just loved the story.
