Very interesting perspective! I love superhero movies, but having them in-universe WOULD be awfully nerve-wracking for poor Clark! I love how well you were able to balance focused Clark -- intent on his children and their needs and being thankful for them -- with his obsessive, spiraling side, panicking and maybe-but-maybe-not overreacting on the inside. It was very true to his character and how so much of his process is always on the inside whether than played outwardly (which is probably why, when it does come out, it seems over the top, just because it's been building for so long). Anyway, very thought-provoking story -- I did have to chuckle at Disney accidentally stumbling onto the revolutionary truth about superheroes!
