Ahem. Sorry. But I've been dying to see something like this for years. So, kudos for that alone.
Of course, the way you had Clark and his boys watch the movie, then have all of Clark's fears about his own secret identity being found out shown in introspection - it was a fabulous ride. Not to mention that your use of movie scenes was spot on.
Oh, this one has been brewing in my head for years. I just needed the right angle to have Clark see the movie.
I really wish I could have gotten this nailed down sooner! (What a relief to finally have it on paper!)
