Why in the world would I mind if my wife were to sleep with a stuffed animal? It seems there'd have to be some sort of insecurity to be threatened by a ball of fluff.
She doesn't actually sleep with one (more like she sleeps with the TiVo remote), but I wouldn't care one way or the other if she did.
