Some more useful info. If the spouse does not respond at all, you can usually get a default judgment, in what's called an
uncontested divorce .
Also, if there is proof that he has tried to hurt her (and in many states, even if all there is is her word),
domestic abuse laws would help her get a divorce, I believe.
