I'd bet real money that with Lois and Lana having that existing undercurrent, the dynamics of "Our Town" will be more dynamic than usual for a high school production. Please tell us that you're planning to let us see them put the play on! Not the whole thing, of course, just the juicy bits with Clark and Lana and Lois.
Just food for thought:
There is one scene (at the end of act 1??) during the wedding between Emily and George where they have to freeze during the wedding kiss while the stage manager performs a monologue...you could have fun with that. Just saying.
