I think you should keep it simple and just let writers post their guesses along with everyone else. A lot of the fun will be in watching the guesses and seeing the reasoning people use to reach their decisions. Also, I suspect that quite a few writers will use subterfuge to avoid giving themselves away when they submit their guesses...
