Once again late to the party...
Let me just join everyone else in saying that this was a wonderful story, it kept me checking the boards much more often than I otherwise would have, and I am so sorry to see it come to an end.
I will say that rather than Lana (who isn't worth it), I would have liked to see more of Lois and her alt-family (you stopped just when it was getting to the good, weepy part!), and Lois meeting the Daily Planet and its staff for the first time. But we can't always get what we want.
I agree with everyone else: definitely my pick for a Kerth.
