Caroline for a while I've wondered why I'm so attracted to your portrayal of Clark, I think it's the fact that you make him into a philosopher, he really think about his relationship to the world. His love for Lois is only a part of that and it makes him feel very real.
In the series I tended to get irritated when Martha an Jonathan showed up in every episode but I loved the characters, and the way they served as a soundingboard for his morale quandries. They were the only people in the whole world he truly trusted.
