NK, my comment that it was short was not intended as a criticism; after all, you know that my stories don't need the Reader's Digest abridgment treatment; they come pre-abridged.
One of the advantages of writing fanfic (as opposed to, say, a televised script) is that we can make our writing as long or as short as necessary for the maximum impact. I'd say your story, while short, was just the right length for what you were trying to accomplish.
