I loved Clark's acknowledgement of the original pact, his "impending doom" comment, and his new pledge to Lois. The "Clark stopped and waited for the heel to dig into his calf, but it never came." was priceless.
Really nice wrap up, nice emotion without it being too emotional, I guess more real than many of the endings of a lot of fan fiction. You had them go through the process of first understanding their feelings for each other, then admitting them first to themselves then to each other, and finally their commitment to each other. This story while not canon catches the original canon concept extremely well. While ABC would never admit it, Lois and Clark was at heart a romantic comedy with a super hero thrown in to keep it from getting boring
