Whereas the male perspective on the toilet seat is much the opposite. The toilet seat has two positions. There are two approaches to using it: either move it to the necessary position before using, or always move it to the same position after using AND move it to the necessary position before using. Which one involves more steps?

Admittedly, if the house is all-female, then both are no-ops; in a mixed environment, the first shares the issue equally, while the second places all burden on the male. Share household tasks equitably? ;-)

And besides, how can you walk up to a toilet and never be facing it? Sure, it's possible to do, but do you really walk into the bathroom in reverse?
