I actually have answers for a couple of these.
I read somewhere that ATMs are all made standard (with braille). There's no way of knowing when it's manufactured if it's going to be put in a drive through, in the bank, or on a street somewhere. So they're all made the same.
Needles for lethal injections are sterilized because it's part of procedure, like any other shot. The person being executed is still a human being, and the law says they have the right to be treated as such.
