Oh, I'm aware it isn't legal. I'm just looking for people's thoughts on the subject (where wrong=ethically, not legally). It seems most closely analogous to abandonware, in my opinion (old games that internet users feel justified in sharing with one another because the companies that own them do not sell/support them anymore and have no intention of doing so). Abandonware, while still illegal, seems generally "tolerated" by the software community.
Anyway, I'm just trying to see what other people think. I apologize if I wasn't clear before; I posted pretty late at night
