It’s truly something special in fandom to have been going for this long, so thank you to everyone, new and old, who has participated throughout the years and made this the phenomenal fandom that it is! First, a short note on the tech end of things: Our website kerthawards.com is going to be moving to a new home during the first week of May. While we will try to keep the move interruption free, it’s the first move done in years. This means it is possible that the Kerth website might be unreachable for a day or so until the Internet name system catches up with the new address. So, if you notice anything, please don’t panic, it’s all part of a scheduled maintenance operation. This year was quite amusingly, The Year of the Tie… (as we affectionately named it in the #kerthchat ) The competition was fierce this year, so it’s no wonder that we had FOUR ties! I wonder what next year will bring! If everything ran smoothly this year (and I think it mostly did??) it’s surely because of Michael! And the ceremony would not have been near as fun without our volunteers who worked hard to come up with entertaining and/or heartfelt presentation speeches! Thank you so much!! Thank you to Doranwen for finding the right IRC server and for making it easier for everyone to get no, not to mention taking care of the voicing ops during the ceremony!! I want to thank all the writers who wrote stories last year. It was an amazing year. There were so many great fics! I also want to say thank you to the Kerth Committee and to all the volunteers who worked so hard to put on the award show. All your hard work is greatly appreciated! Thanks to all! I watched and loved the show when it originally aired. I’m so happy I finally made my way to the fandom. I wish I had found it sooner but I’m thankful to be here now. Folcs are the best!

I can see from Vicki's post that we must need to do better next year with publicizing the web-browser option for IRC, so everyone can be confident in having a safe and virus-free experience while attending the Kerth Awards ceremony. Morgana A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
