I'm glad you liked the part with Martha. I'm not sure why, but it was really important to me that we see Lois and Martha talk about her relationship with Clark. Maybe just because Lois and Martha's relationship in this story was very separate from Lois and Clark's relationship, I could see Lois being uneasy about how Martha would react. Of course, I couldn't see anyway for Martha to react except with happiness, though.
