Okay, after much thought, pondering, perplexing and random dart throwing (the list on my monitor will never be the same), I've come up with a decision on who I think the author is. I'm hypothesizing it to be Laramoon because
A) The style reminds me of One Blinding Moment,
B) The story is obviously the first in a series and the title begins with 2 A's,
C) There were no mentions of bats and I think Lara will be sneaky that way and
D) The dart hit her. Who else could it be?
