Kal’s sense of isolation and loneliness comes through like a blade. He has achieved so much being a man without sight, yet he is also missing a sense of community and purpose beyond reporting. It is the one thing that keeps him tethered to his old life.

The description of his home is also a little on the spartan side. Which he needs, yet in comparison with the rich textile and colors of his old apartment we can see what a fantastic shift has taken place in his life.

Where are Martha and Jonathan?

Lois is injured, but in stable condition? Superman to the rescue?

Fabulous story. So glad we get to read it!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
